Visa is another example of a brand that is an official partner of the tournament and also decides to use football ambassadors in their campaigns to enhance the impact of it.

In this case the brand uses former football players instead of active players, but it uses names that are highly recognizable. Paolo Rossi and Zinedine Zidane are the stars of the first advert that claims that Brazil welcomes everybody. In the second one, Fabio Cannavaro and Zinedine Zidane are the ones who remind us how passionate are football fans. Clever and fun ads to support Visa‘s World Cup campaign, with the support of three football legends that know what is to win the trophy.
