Gabriel Jesus gets fuelled by Gatorade
Brazil and Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus was recently unveiled as the newest ambassador for Gatorade. The talented player will be one of the faces of the popular brand of the Pepsico family and has already shared some content in his own social media channels. The player gave some visibility to the brand and promoted the UCL game against Basel – Pepsico is an official sponsor of the competition – in front of his more than 6 million followers on Instagram.
Gatorade will be added to Gabriel Jesus’ portfolio of partnerships, which includes telecommunications giant Vivo, as well as soft drink brand Guaraná, both brands currently sponsoring the Brazilian national team, and a long-term deal with sportswear brand Adidas.
On top of working with clubs like Barcelona, Manchester City or Arsenal, Gatorade also has sponsorship agreements with the likes of Lionel Messi and Alexis Sánchez, and tennis great Serena Williams, among others.
“I’m very happy to be partnering with Gatorade because it’s a brand that always fuelled me during my career,” said Gabriel Jesus. “I am in great company, along with other great stars of the sport that I have always admired. It is very important for an athlete to be well prepared, well hydrated and well fed. This all helps in on-field performance.”
