Beckham puts his boots back on with Konami

The launch of the new FIFA18 has generated a lot of noise, but competitors like Konami have also been working to make the best of its products. Global English superstar David Beckham was announced as a brand ambassador of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer video game franchise.

Beckham, will be featured as a legendary player in the PES 2018 ‘myClub’ mode on the game. He joins other retired soccer stars from the past and celebrities such as the recently retired athletics great Usain Bolt.

“It is a great honour to join the roster of legends that work with KONAMI as PES Ambassadors”, said Beckham. “I look forward to seeing my career represented in this fantastic game, and working with such a talented team of people who obviously love football as much as I do.”
