Keylor Navas is “The happiest goalkeeper”
Keylor Navas is the star of a new advertising campaign from the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT) that seeks to attract more European tourists to the Real Madrid’s home country. ICT is working alongside Keylor Navas, who will feature in different supports -like the printed ad seen in the example below from one of the main sports newspapers in Spain- and he is the main star of a dedicated website that praises Costa Rica and highlights all the good things that the country has to offer, to open Costa Rica to the world through the popularity of his most popular and successful footballer.
When the campaign was launched the Real Madrid and “La Sele” goalkeeper posted a message on his Twitter account, where he has more than 1.5m followers, with a link to the website “The World’s Happiest Goalie”.
Tourism Minister Mauricio Ventura said that the spot that can be seen below this lines is the first stage of a new tourism promotional strategy focused on attracting more European tourists: “Keylor Navas is the main star of the upcoming campaign that we hope will allow us to further reach a market that is very important for Costa Rica’s tourism sector”.
