Robin Van Persie extends his contract with You.C1000
Manchester United and Holland star Robin Van Persie has extended his endorsement deal with Indonesian isotonic drinks brand You.C1000, in a deal brokered by Asian sports marketing agency TSA.
Van Persie, who has been capped 82 times by his country, last year appeared in an advertising campaign for You.C1000. The brand will hope to benefit from the huge public interest in the upcoming Fifa World Cup in Brazil by using the striker in a further campaign this year.
Farah Tanudjaja, a representative of Djojonegoro, the company which owns You.C1000, said: “We are very happy to work with Robin Van Persie once again. This is the second year of our endorsement deal and we are looking forward to a great World Cup season.”
James White, TSA’s senior vice president for SEA, added: “When a partnership works well, it is important to maintain the partnership. Year one of the relationship between You.C1000 and Robin was a great success for the brand in Indonesia.
“As there are many activities this year for Robin where he will have high-profile exposure, it is important for You.C1000 to continue to capitalise on his popularity.”
