Fernando Torres becomes LG’s new face

The popular striker Fernando Torres has been chosen as the new face of LG’s new smartphone V10 during 2016 in Madrid. Last year we could see another Fernando (Llorente) working for the brand and in this occasion LG has decided to use Atlético’s striker as the star of this years campaigns.

After several years playing for Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea, Torres came back to Spain last year to his lifelong football club Atlético de Madrid and the return is proving quite successful both on and off the pitch, so far.

The IT international company share the same values as the superstar, in the words of Marketing Manager of LG Mobile Araceli de la Fuente “commitment, leadership and sacrifice” that’s why he is the best option to promote V10 launch. The event in Madrid gathered different media which later gave fantastic exposure to the brand when the event was covered in newspapers like AS or Marca. Torres recently achieved the record of 100 goals scored with Atlético de Madrid, which is a very significant milestone and provided interesting content to the media that attended the event.
