Mata and Jagielka back to school with Playstation
Everton’s captain Phil Jagielka and Manchester United’s Spanish international Juan Mata recently worked with Playstation to help the brand raise awareness and promote Playstation Schools. Through the commonly used format photo shoot + branded interview, both players discussed football news and shared their thoughts with the media that were invited to cover the event and to interview them.
This formula is used across the world and it provides good visibility to brands given that football content is appreciated and interviews with top players have a high value for football fans and media publications. On this occasion, both interviews could be read on the British The Sun, accompanied by a picture from the photo shoot, with the players wearing a branded polo-shirt.
