Mourinho will be present in the World Cup with Yahoo

Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has become a global ambassador for soccer coverage on Yahoo.

The Chelsea manager will become an analyst for the internet service during the Fifa World Cup later this year, while he will provide further exclusive content through a special page on microblogging platform Tumblr.

Mourinho, 51, will work exclusively for Yahoo during the tournament. His Tumblr page will be launched immediately.

“Having worked with some of the league’s best players, I’m excited to share some analysis and perspective about the game with the most passionate fans in the world,” said Mourinho. “Teaming up with a global leader like Yahoo allows me to reach football fans from Brazil to the US to the UK – whether they’re in front of their computers or on their mobile or tablets.”
