Movistar and Cruzcampo “sign” Spanish Internationals for their campaigns
Movistar and Cruzcampo, partner sponsors of the Spanish football team have made new campaigns on the occasion of the World Cup Brazil 2014.
Movistar’s campaign has had the special participation of the players of ‘La Roja’ Andres Iniesta, Xabi Alonso, Pepe Reina, Santi Cazorla and Juanfran Torres. This new TV spot, whose motto is : “We will strive as much as you” is a tribute to the about 47 million living champions in Spain who daily struggle to get big wins in their daily lives .
The creative team disguised the champions so they could, anonymously, share a working day with some of these 47 million champions.
The campaign, and support team Movistar, wants to transfer a message of optimism to society and support for people struggling with their work and making great efforts to achieve their personal and professional challenges.
The creative campaign wanted to motivate the players for the upcoming World Cup, making them live the unique experience of being an ordinary citizen for a day.
Filming took place in Las Rozas on March 3 where Xavi Alonso was Victor, the warden of a nursing home; Pepe Reina was Nacho, the new teacher of a primary school; Andrés Iniesta was Carlos, an assistant in the kitchen; Santi Cazorla and Juanfran were Manu and Jaime, gardeners.
For the players it was a unique experience, and stakeholders were thrilled with the experience and grateful for the treatment that his companions had given them. Employees and spot co-protagonists were really surprised because they didn’t learn that their new colleagues were the players until everything was finalized and the players revealed themselves.
The spot can be seen below:
