Dunga sits behind the wheel of a Chevrolet
US automotive manufacturer Chevrolet has recently announced that the brand has signed an endorsement deal with Brazilian national football team manager Dunga, proving once again, that managers and former players are very appealing to brands for having different values than current players and for their distinctive positioning.
The 51-year-old will participate in a series of advertising campaigns for the General Motors-owned brand.
Although financial details have not been released, the deal will last until 2017 and it’s a consequence of the existing relationship between the brand and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Chevrolet also has a high profile soccer sponsorship deal in place with Premier League side Manchester United, as well as a deal with the Colombian national soccer team.
